Tell me a little about yourself.
Hi! My name is Nicole, I am a stay at home mom to my 2 year old little boy Nico. My husband Andrew & I just bought our first home in Seattle, WA that we are remodeling together!
If you had to pack a hospital bag again, what top three items would you take?
Hmm I think if I gave birth again I would love to do a home birth instead of a hospital birth. But I’d say a good pillow, comfortable button down pajamas & cozy socks!
What are your favorite mama and babe personal care products? Bath, skincare, haircare, sun care, makeup, grooming…
An everything & anything balm that we all use is the Yay For Earth lotion. For bath & sun care we love Babo Botanicals. For the mamas, Drunk Elephant skincare has been my go to staple for over 4 years!

Where do you shop for babes? (Skincare, healing, clothing, toys, food, vitamins…)
Oh so many good places! For clothes & toys we try to shop small when possible. Some places are Roux (of course!), Rudy Jude, Les Gamins, Summer & Storm, Hannah Andersson, Facade, Shop Merci Milo, Bella Luna Toys, Hape, & more that I’m sure I’m forgetting!
What books and music are on rotation in your house?
We have a diverse taste in music so really it’s anything from Harry Styles to Drake to The Laurie Berkner Band to Encanto to Sade! As for books, I personally don’t get to read as much as I’d like to but Nico has lots of books and loves to read anything about dinosaurs!
What is a no-fail activity that your babe loves?
Nico loves the park with a truck in hand. No matter the weather, digging outdoors is the best for him haha
What are trusty at-home activities for your babe?
We actually love to bake or cook together! Play dough is always great or sensory bins! We have found them pre-made at Michaels & JoAnn’s.
What is a recent thing your babe did or said that made you laugh?
He recently has started saying “oh maaan! Shooot!” when something falls or he can’t find something! It’s pretty cute & funny!
How do you unwind at the end of the day?
Always with a cup of Rooibos tea and a little treat like a cookie or chocolate or something! Then my husband & I either pick a new show or movie to watch, if we are real tired though we just put on The Office and talk!
Do you have support resources to recommend to fellow parents? (Books, websites, podcasts, meditations, apps, at-home exercise classes, parent groups…)
I think I Googled everything & anything at the beginning of parenthood which I actually regret. I needed to trust my intuition more for sure & I definitely do that now. But for support I actually turn the the mom friends I have made through Instagram. There is a lot about social media that I don’t like but I can’t deny the connections it has provided me!
When I am stressed out though during the day I have definitely learned to excuse myself from Nico, go into the bathroom and just breathe, honestly. It helps me stay the kind of patient & loving parent I always want to be to him.
